Delhi BJP legislators today met Lt Governor Anil Baijal and demanded a CBI probe into the alleged DSSSB examination paper leak case.

The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) exam was held in October for appointment of primary teachers in municipal schools.

A delegation of BJP MLAs led by Leader of Opposition in the Delhi Assembly Vijender Gupta handed over a memorandum to Baijal, demanding that a fresh examination be conducted.

Gupta alleged the AAP government remained "silent" on the matter even as the Delhi Police registered a case and arrested several persons.

"The government took more than a month to realise the gravity of the situation. The long silence indicates it intended to cover up the misconduct and mismanagement of the DSSSB.

"The paper was leaked and candidates used unfair means. There was utter chaos and mismanagement in the conduct of the exam," Gupta alleged.
