BJP win in Gujarat, HP proves people's faith on Modi: Sonowal

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal today said the BJP's win in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh proved that people have faith on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership and the Centre's policies.

Sonowal congratulated Modi, BJP president Amit Shah and party workers at all levels in both the states for ensuring the victory.

"Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh results have proved that the people of the country are happy and feeling secured in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership," he said in a statement here.

The prime minister instills a sense of security among all sections of the people and he has ushered in a new mantra of equal development which becomes evident from people's acceptability of his policies, he said.
 

Sonowal who heads a BJP led government in the state also expressed confidence that India will lead the world under the leadership of Modi.
