Blaze in hotel, 21 rooms damaged

Several rooms of a hotel, located in the famous tourist resort Gulmarg in Kashmir's Baramulla district, were damaged today in a fire incident, police said.

The fire broke out in the Kings Lay Hotel damaging 21 rooms, a police spokesman said.

An employee of the hotel suffered burn injuries and was rushed to hospital for treatment, he said.

The cause of the blaze, which was extinguished after a few hours, was yet to be ascertained.
