A 35-year-old member of Phagwara Block Samiti, Ram Lubhaya, was killed when the motorcycle he was riding on dashed against a tree, police said today.
The incident occurred yesterday when Lubhaya, a resident of nearby village Lakhpur, was going from Phagwara to his native village on his motorcycle, they said.
He suffered fatal injuries after he lost control over the bike near village Chak Prema and the vehicle dashed into a roadside tree, police added.
