Boat mishap toll up to 4

With one more body being found today, the toll in Purulia boat mishap, went up to four, police said here.

The body of a 14-year-old boy was fished out during the day while yesterday the bodies of three members of a family were found, they said.

They had gone missing after their boat overturned in Damodar river here.

The boat disaster took place when a group of 12 people were on their way to a village in neighbouring Jharkhand from Raghunathpur block on Friday night.

Police said eight of them swam ashore.
