Bodies of panchayat member, woman found hanging

A 34-year-old man and a woman were found hanging at Jalalabad village of Dharamkot subdivision this morning.

Amarjit Singh, a panchayat member, was found hanging from a tree, while the body of the woman, Kulwant Kaur, a travel agent, was found hanging near a tubewell in the same area, police said.

A case has been registered in this regard and probe is on, they said.
