: The charred bodies of a septugenarian woman and her son were found inside a well in Suripalayam village in Thalawady forest area today, police said.
They said the villagers noticed the bodies of the 70-year-old woman and her 35-year-old son and informed police, who rushed to the spot and retrieved them.
Police said the two were agricultural labourers and suspect them to have been murdered two days back by some persons, who later set the bodies on fire and dumped them in the well.
