The body of a 32-year-old man was found in a drain near Sector 16 of Rohini in north west Delhi today, police said.
The body of Abhishek Jain was found with his hands and feet tied, and a belt wrapped around his neck. It is suspected that he was strangulated to death and the body was dumped in the drain, they said.
The victim's family had approached the police claiming that he had been missing for the last 24 hours.
Jain was employed at a local hardware shop and also owned a spare parts shop. He had left for work yesterday but did not return home, police said.
A probe is on in the matter, they added.
