Body of man found in West Delhi's Ranhola area

The body of a 43-year-old man was found with an injured eye in west Delhi's Ranhola area.

A PCR call was received today around 10.30 AM about the body of a man lying at Nala Road near near Kheri Baba Pulia in Ranhola area, police said.

Initially, the man couldn't be identified. The injury marks were found beneath the left eye, police said.

"With local intelligence, the deceased was identified as Arun Kumar Sharma. He was a resident of Sainik Enclave in Mohan Garden," said a senior police officer.

His wife Shanwana Sharma told police that he had left home around 8 PM last night.
 

"Further investigation is underway. He was a mechanic of cycle puncture. The cause of the death will be known only after post-mortem," added the officer.
