The body ofa 19-year-old youth, who went missing on Sunday, was found hanging from a tree in a village here, police said today.
Azad was found hanging from a tree in Abdullahpur village in Shamli district yesterday evening, a police official said.
Police suspect it to be a case of suicide but Azad's family has alleged he was murdered.
In another incident, a girl, a student of class X, committed suicide by jumping into the Ganga Canal at Bhainsi village in the district yesterday, police said, adding it was immediately not known what led her to take the extreme step.
