Bomb found

A bomb was found near a

religious place in a busy market at Bijni in Chirang district of Assam this evening, said police sources.

During routine patrolling, a policeman was informed by members of public that for a long time, a bag full of vegetables was hanging from a bicycle kept at the entrance.

Bomb experts called in detected it as an Improvised Explosive Device (IED).
