Bootlegger arrested in J-K

One person has been arrested by Samba police in Jammu and Kashmir and large quantity of country-made illicit liquor was recovered from his possession.

"A man identified as Shammi Banotra, a resident of Mandi Samba was nabbed and 72 pouches of country-made illicit liquor were recovered from his possession," a police officer said.

He said that the accused was arrested and booked under various sections of the RPC and the Excise act.
