Boy shot dead

A 15-year-old boy was shot

dead by unidentified assailants in Mahewaghat area, a senior police officer said here today.

Lalji Prajapati was shot dead by motorcycle-borne persons near Kumiyawan Bazar last evening, Superintendent of Police R P Singh said.

Agitated with the incident, locals placed the body on the road and blocked it. They later lifted the blockade.
