Paramount Pictures will release the sequel to Brad Pitt-starrer "World War Z" on June 9, 2017.
Pitt is returning as the lead star while J A Bayona will direct the zombie drama, based on Max Brooks' novel.
The actor will also produce the drama alongside Jeremy Kleiner and Dede Gardner for Plan B.
The original film, directed by Marc Forster, earned more than USD 540 million worldwide in 2013 and became the highest-grossing film of Pitt's career.
