Brawl between foreigners and pavement dwellers

The police is investigating the scuffle between some foreign nationals and pavement dwellers of Tollygunge area in the southern part of the city.

According to police sources, three nationals of Germany and Brazil had entered into a brawl with pavement dwellers after the foreigners, who were in an inebriated state, threw a liquor bottle on the pavement on Sunday night.

A scuffle broke out between the foreigners, who are in the city for an internship with an IT company, and the pavement dwellers, which was later controlled by the police who reached the spot soon.

Both the foreigners and pavement dwellers have filed a case and a counter case and an investigation has been launched.
