Brick kiln owner alleges kidnapping and extortion

A brick kiln owner today alleged that he was kidnapped and asked to pay extortion money but he managed to escape and inform police.

Satya Prakash Mittal, owner of Aggarwal brick works, lodged an FIR against Pawan Nagar and others at Dankaur police station, police said.

He stated that today afternoon he was at his workplace following which men came in a car and kidnapped him at gun-point after which they took him to Bagpur village at Nagar's house, they said.

Nagar is accused in Manmohan Choudhary trader murder case and had recently come out from jail on bail.

Mittal alleged that Nagar demanded extortion money from him and threatened to kill him, but he managed to dodge him through the fields and escaped.
 

A manhunt has been launched to arrest the accused, Deputy Superintendent of Police Om Prakash Tripathi said.
