'Bright', 'I, Tonya' in race for makeup and hairstyling Oscar
Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2", Netflix's "Bright", and Tonya Harding's biopic "I, Tonya" are among the seven films short-listed for the makeup and hairstyling Oscar.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences made the announcement in an official release.
The short-list also includes "Wonder", directed by Stephen Chbosky and starring Jacob Tremblay, Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson; and "Darkest Hour", directed Joe Wright and starring Gary Oldman as Winston Churchill.
"Ghost in the Shell" and "Victoria & Abdul" round off the list of nominees for the aesthetic honour.
Nominations for the 90th Academy Awards will be announced on January 23 next year.
