Brit Morgan joins 'Riverdale' cast

"True Blood" star Brit Morgan has been tapped for a recurring role on the second season of "Riverdale".

Morgan will play Penny Peabody, a wily backroom attorney on retainer with the Southside Serpents, reported Deadline.

The 29-year-old actress joined series stars Cole Sprouse, KJ Apa, Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, Madelaine Petsch, Ashleigh Murray and Luke Perry.

Mark Consuelos will be another new addition on season 2 as Mendes' character's father Hiram Lodge.
