Britain's anti-terror police today said they have arrested two suspected terrorists and seized ammunition from their possession at the port of Dover in south-east England as they arrived from France.
The British citizens aged 29 and 22 years were held on suspicion of being involved in the commission, preparation or instigation of acts of terrorism.
They were stopped by Kent police under Schedule 7 of the Terrorism Act and subsequently arrested under the Terrorism Act 2000 on Monday morning.
