Brothers stabbed by uncle over property dispute

Two brothers have been stabbed to death allegedly by their uncle over a property dispute in Simra village, police said here today.

The incident occurred last night when Pravesh (17) and his brother Ashok (12) were sleeping in their house in Shivratanganj police station area. Their uncle stabbed them with sharp-edged weapon killing the duo on the spot, Superintendent of Police Hiralal said.

The accused has been arrested and the bodies have been sent for post mortem, he added.
