Bryan Singer welcomes son with best friend

'The X-Men: Days of Future Past' director Bryan Singer has welcomed a baby boy with best friend Michelle Clunie.

The pair have been friends for 25 years and announced the pregnancy in October.

"Michelle Clunie and I would like to welcome our beautiful son Dashiell Julius William Clunie-Singer into the world :)," Singer tweeted with a photo of Clunie and the child.

The director recently faced the allegations of sexual abuse by Michael Egan, who eventually dropped the lawsuit against Singer.
