BSF families donate blood for dengue-affected

As dengue cases spiral in the national capital, more than 140 BSF personnel and their family members today donated blood at a camp in order to supplement the reserves of the vital fluid.
The camp was organised by the Wives Welfare Association of the border guarding force where a total of 142 personnel and other family members donated blood, a senior official said.
The blood will be provided to a recognised blood bank in the city for use by patients especially those detected with dengue, the official said.
