Students of BSF school were left disappointed after their wish of shaking a leg with Bollywood star Akshay Kumar on popular song "Jai Ho" did not come true.

The actor, who was on half day long visit to BSF headquarter here, paid tributes to jawans martyred in Pakistan firing along IB in Jammu frontier.

"We all wanted our favorite actor Akshay Kumar to dance with us to the tunes of 'Jai Ho'. It was wish of all of us", said a 10th class student of BSF higher secondary school, who was part of the group performing for the actor at the event organized in the BSF campus.

Akshay, 49, was mobbed by media and the BSF jawans and the children couldn't request him to dance with them.

"He left quickly within few minutes as he was mobbed by the media and jawans. We were disappointed and ended the dance in middle of the song as no one was looking to us," another student said.

The "Airlift" actor came back and requested the media and other people to give him space to meet the school children.

"Please allow me space to run around this ground to meet children. Media persons are requested not to follow me please", Akshay said.

However, the actor was mobbed again and had to leave without meeting the students.

During his visit Akshay advocated strongly for making an APP on martyr of security forces to send them money in bid to help their families. He batted strongly for restoration of peace along Indo-Pak border.
