BSP today condemned brutal Taliban assault on school students at Peshawar and expressed sympathy with the bereaved families.

"We condemn the killing of school students at Peshawar by the Taliban and expressed sympathy with the bereaved families whose children were killed," Bahujan Samaj Party national general secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Narender Kashyap told reporters here today.

The assault on Tuesday killed 148 people, including 132 students, in the worst terrorist attack in the history of Pakistan.

Later, Kashyap alleged National Conference supporters have beaten the party workers who have come for the rally of BSP candidate from Nagrota constituency.

He said the party has lodged a complaint in this regard with the police and asked the authorities to take strict action against them.
