The Bahujan Samaj Party today registered its presence in Jharkhand Assembly for the first time when its lone MLA Kushwaha Shivpujan Mehta took oath as a member.
Mehta, who won from Hussainabad constituency, was among the five MLAs who could not take oath yesterday.
Sadhucharan Mahato (BJP, Icchagar seat), Anosh Ekka (Jharkhand Party, Kolibera) and Dullu Mahto (BJP, Baghmara) were the three other MLAs who took oath today.
Chamra Linda (JMM, Bishunpur) was again absent today.
