Budget session of Kerala assembly from Mar 6

The budget session of the Kerala assembly will begin on March six with the policy address to the House by Governor Justice P Sathasivam.

A meeting of the state cabinet today decided to recommend the Governor the convening of the session from March six, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy told reporters.

The state's budget for 2015-16 is scheduled to be presented by Finance Minister K M Mani on March 13.

The session will last till April 9, he said.
