Budget session of Puducherry Assembly to begin on August 24

Puducherry Chief Minister Narayanasamy is expeted to present the budget for 2016-17 on August 29.

The session will begin with the customary address of Lt Governor Kiran Bedi on August 24, Narayanasamy told newsmen today.

The House has a total number of 30 elected members and Narayanasamy is a non member and is to face a by-election to become an elected member.
