Bullion market in Chennai shut for third day

Bullion market in Chennai was closed for the third day today in response to the call for the three-day nationwide strike to protest the plan to re-impose 1 per cent excise duty and mandatory use of PAN cards for transactions of Rs 2 lakh and above.
