Bus mows down 5 in Gorakhpur

Five persons were today killed and seven others injured after a roadways bus hit them at Cantt area here, police said.

A roadways bus mowed down Ramesh (32), Uma Devi (48), Priyanka (8) and two unidentified persons near Girdharganj market on Deoria road this afternoon, they said.

Police said that angry local residents smashed glasses of the bus, whose driver was arrested from the spot.
