Business robbed at gunpoint in Odisha

Unidentified miscreants allegedly looted a businessman at gun-point and fled with around Rs 1.80 lakh cash near Mohuda on the outskirt of the town, police said today.

The businessman identified as Achyutananda Bisoi of Gunthupada was admitted in MKCG Medical College and Hospital here with bullet injuries, they said, adding that he was out of danger.

Two motor bike-borne miscreants stopped Bisoi's car on his way to the town last evening to repay a loan, police said, adding that, the culprits fired at him and fled with bag containing cash.

A case has been registered regarding the incident and patrolling in the area has been intensified to nab the culprits, police said.
