Businessman arrested for raping domestic help

A businessman was arrested today for allegedly raping the domestic help of his house at Salt Lake on the northern fringe of Kolkata.

The police said Samrat Roychowdhury was arrested this evening after his domestic help lodged a complaint with Bidhannagar North police station that he used to rape her for over a month in his BA block house in Salt Lake.

Roychowdhury was detained in the evening for interrogation and then arrested, the police said.
