C Chandramouli gets 9 months extension as Census Commissioner

Senior IAS officer C Chandramouli was today given an extension of nine months, till January 8, next year, as Registrar General and Census Commissioner.

Chandramouli is a 1985 batch IAS officer of Tamil Nadu cadre.

The Appointments Committee of Cabinet has approved the proposal for extension of central deputation tenure of Chandramouli for a period of nine months, i.E. Upto January 8, 2016, an order issued by Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) said.
