Twenty-six police personnel were injured, two of them critically, when a police van fell off a bridge near Pacheda village in Raipur district of Chhattisgarh today.
The driver is among the injured.
The injured jawans were undergoing anti-Naxal operations training at Chandkhuri police training school, around 25 km from here, and were on the way back from Nardha village after completing morning exercises.

"The driver lost control while trying to save a bicycle rider," Additional Superintendent of Police Lal Umed Singh told PTI.
The injured jawans were taken to Dr B R Ambedkar Memorial Hospital, from where they were further shifted to Ramkrishna Care Hospital.
The condition of two jawans -- Sandeep Pandey and Jitendra Ratre -- was stated to be critical.
