Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh today appointed eight legislators to the post of parliamentary secretaries in the state government.
Singh administered the oath of office and secrecy to eight MLAs as parliamentary secretaries this evening during a ceremony at his official residence.
The MLAs are -- Labhchand Bafna (Saja), Shivshankar Paikra (Patthalgaon), Suniti Rathiya (Lailunga), Ambesh Jangde (Pamgarh), Tokhan Sahu (Lormi), Motiram Chadnrawanshi (Pandariya), Roopkumari Chaudhary (Basna), Lakhan Dewangan (Katghora).

Cabinet ministers, party leaders and senior officials were present on the occasion.
The newly-appointed parliamentary secretaries will be assigned different departments under the concerned cabinet minister.
