C'garh govt make appointments in commissions, corporations

The Chhattisgarh Government has made appointments to the post of chairpersons and vice chairpersons of various corporations and commissions and also appointed three parliamentary secretaries.

Official sources here said the government yesterday appointed MLA Raju Kshatriya, Champadevi Pavle and Govardhan Majhi as parliamentary secretaries.

In other appointments, BJP leader Sanam Jagde was made the vice chairperson of Schedule Caste Authority. Chunnila Sahu, Rajsharan Bhagat, Bhojraj Nag were named as vice-chairpersons of Schedule Caste Authority and Other Backward Classes Authority, Sarguja Development Authority and Bastar Development Authority, respectively.

Chandrashekhar Sahu was appointed as the chairman of State Finance Commission while Naresh Gupta was made its member.
 

Officials said Surendra Singh Kaimbo was assigned the charge of chairperson of state Minority Commission.

Bharat Saay, Srinivas Rao, Harshita Pandey and Nirmal Sinha were made the chairpersons of state Minor Forest Produce (Trading & Development) Co-operative Federation, Forest Development Corporation, state Women Commission and Rajya Antavyavasayi Nigam, respectively.

Purander Mishra and Chandrashekher Pandey were made the chairpersons of CREDA (Chhattisgarh Renewable Energy Development Agency) and Matikala Board, respectively.

Vinay Kumar Pathak would be the new chairman of Rajbhasha Board, while Kedar Gupta would be his counterpart in state Tourism Board.

Khoobchand Parakh was made the vice chairperson of 20 Point Implementation Committee of the state.
