Cache of arms and ammunition recovered

Security forces today busted a militant hideout and recovered a cache of arms and ammunition in forests of Bandipora district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Acting on a tip-off, the security forces launched a search operation in Gubrinala forest area of Bandipora, a defence spokesman here said.

"During the search, a cache of arms and ammunition, which included eight Chinese pistols, eight magazines and 32 pistol rounds, was recovered," the spokesman said.
