Canadian police are hunting for an 'East-Indian' accused of allegedly sexually assaulting a woman gas station employee in an inebriated state in Langley city, seeking public help to identify him.

Royal Canadian Mounted Police uploaded his sketch on its website yesterday and sought public assistance to identify the sexual assault suspect.

The suspect appeared to be intoxicated and entered the gas station shortly before 8 PM local time on August 9.

He came up behind the employee as she ate her lunch and touched her inappropriately, qualifying as a sexual assault. She was able to push him away and he fled on foot, police said.

Police dogs were unable to assist due to time delay in reporting the event to police.

The male is described by the police as an 'East Indian', in his mid-20's, approximately five feet and six inches tall. The victim was able to work with a sketch artist and a composite drawing has been created.
