Car bomb blast kills five refugees

At least five refugees werekilled today when a vehicle they were traveling in exploded in Pakistan's northwestern city here.

The incident occured near Kot Kashmir Bridge in the jurisdiction of Tajori Police Station in Lakki Marwat District of Khyber Pakthunkhwas bordering South Waziristan agency, officials said.

Five refugees werekilled in the blast, they said.

It is yet to be confirmed if the explosive wasplanted inside the car or it was triggered through an explosive device, the officials said.
