Car driver flees after accident with lady's body on windshield

A woman was killed and her husband critically injured after their two-wheeler was hit by a car in Mahabubnagar district in Telangana today, police said.

The woman's body landed on the windshield of the car due to the impact, but the driver kept driving for about two kms, according to police.

The driver abandoned the vehicle along road and fled fearing that local people might chase him, police said, adding efforts are on to nab him.
