Press Trust of India New Delhi
Cardamom prices fell by 1.23 per cent to Rs 970 per kg in futures trade today, extending losses for a third day due to a subdued demand at spot markets.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in December fell by Rs 12.10, or 1.23 per cent to Rs 970 per kg in business turnover of one lot.

The spice for delivery in January 2018 was trading lower by Rs 10.50, or 0.99 per cent to Rs 1,050 per kg in three lots.

Traders said offloading of positions by participants owing to slackened domestic and exports demand in physical market against adequate stocks position on increased arrivals from producing regions, mainly kept cardamom prices lower at futures trade.
