Cartridges and shells recovered from farm

Police have seized nine live cartridges and 75 shells from a farm in Sikar district.

The cartridges, including one of AK-47 rifle, were found in a polythene bag in the farm of the Dadia village sarpanch Mohan Singh yesterday.

Singh informed the police following which the cartridges were seized, Additional SP Prakash Kumar Sharma said.

A case has been registered against unidentified persons under the Arms Act and the matter is being probed, he added.
