CAT results declared

The results of the Common

Admission Test (CAT) for entry into prestigious IIMs and other managements institutes were declared today.

Candidates who had appeared in the entrance test received SMSes this morning informing them of their percentile. In the evening, the results of this fiercely competitive examination were put on the website as well.

Thousands of students had appeared for the CAT exam on November 29, 2015 across 136 cities in 650 test sites. The test was conducted by the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.

After the CAT examination, the IIMs shortlist candidates for second stage of selection which may be independent of each other but include Group Discussions (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI).
 

Performance in CAT 2015 examination is an important component in the admission process for these institutes.
