The Central Bureau of Investigation today arrested an Assistant Garrison Engineer and Junior Engineer of Military Engineering Services, working in the office of Garrison Engineer (Air Force), Lohegaon (Pune) for allegedly demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 90,000.
CBI said in a release that it had registered a case under the Prevention of Corruption Act and relevant IPC sections.
The release did not disclose the accused's names.

They had demanded Rs 1,10,000 for processing bills of Rs 7 lakh regarding some work executed by a private firm. It was later brought down to Rs 90,000.
CBI laid a trap and caught both officers red-handed today.
Searches were being conducted at the official and residential premises of the accused at Nashik and Pune, it said.
