The CBI today said it recorded the statement of Trinamool Congress MP Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar in connection with its ongoing probe into the Narada sting operation, but the MP denied it.
A CBI spokesman here said its officials went to her house near Madhyamgram in North 24-Paragans district to record her statements, considering the fact that she is a woman.
Denying that CBI officials came to her house, Ghosh Dastidar told reporters, "Why are you talking rubbish? No one has come (to interrogate). Don't confuse the people," she said.
The investigating agency said it had earlier sent summons to her in this regard.
