Bihar BJP chief Nityanand Rai, who met party president Amit Shah here today, said his party could support state Chief Minister Nitish Kumar if he broke ties with the RJD, but insisted that the decision rested on the BJP's central leadership.
"If our central leadership gives such instructions, then we will support Nitish Kumar," he said.
Rai's comments will add to the uncertainty facing the RJD-JD(U) alliance government following the CBI's case of corruption against RJD chief Lalu Prasad and his son and Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav.

The party is holding its meeting tomorrow in Patna where it is likely to discuss the issue.
The RJD today asserted that Yadav would not resign from the government, as demanded by the BJP.
