Central team visits Thanjavur dist

The Central team, deputed by the Centre to assess the drought situation in Tamil Nadu, today visited Thanjavur district.

The team, headed by National Co-operative Development Corporation Managing Director Vasudha Mishra, met farmers who vented their grievances about losses and damage to crops.

District Collector Annadurai and other officials accompanied the team.
