The Agriculture ministry removed all hurdles to make Arunachal eligible for the funds, Secretary Agriculture Hage Kojeen said after a discussion with Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar.
Earlier, Arunachal was declared ineligible for RKVY funds and the matter was pending with the Planning Commission, Kojeen said.
He said the funds would be divided among agriculture, horticulture, fisheries, sericulture, animal husbandry and diary development departments for execution of projects and submission of utilization certificates to receive more funds.
The RKVY would go a long way in achieving the goal of attaining minimum 4 per cent annual growth.
