Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday accused the Centre of deliberately playing out the emotive issues like 'nationalism' to divert people's attention from its "failure" on all fronts.

He said no one was talking about economic issues.

"Now everyone is busy on the debate over 'nationalism' in the country. First they (BJP) showed dreams to the people and when they realised that it was not possible to translate those dreams into realities, then emotive issues are being played out to divert attention," Kumar told a conference of the Asian Development Research Institute here.

No one was talking about economic issues, the chief minister said.
