BJP-led central government is pursuing vindictive politics against opposition parties in the country and Trinamool Congress will oppose this, TMC MP Sudip Bandyopadhyay today said.
"It is well known that the BJP-led government at the Centre is pursuing a vindictive and vendetta politics against the opposition parties. I don't want to mention any particular case, but this is a well known fact.
"We are against such tendency of the Centre in a federal and democratic structure," Bandyopadhyay told PTI.

TMC, he said, will play the role of "formidable opposition" against the vindictive politics of BJP.
His comments were made on the day when Congress President Sonia Gandhi and vice-president Rahul Gandhi appeared in a Delhi court in connection with the National Herald case filed by BJP leader Subramanian Swamy and were granted unconditional bail.
