United SC will not be part of the Calcutta Football League Premier Division which will now get underway with 11 teams from August 10.
"United Sports Club have not registered the required number of players within the specified deadline. The Premier Division of the CFL will be played with 11 teams instead of 12," according to a IFA statement.
East Bengal will take on Mohammaden Sporting to kick off the CFL Premier Division 2014-15 season which will have eight qualifiers.
There will be no change in the schedule of the Mohun Bagan-East Bengal marquee clash to be held on August 31.
